Bin Peng is a baritone. He has performed Alcindoro in La Bohème (scenes work) at University of North Texas, Papageno in Die Zauberflöte (scenes work) at ManhattanSchool of Music, and Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro with Capital Normal University. Heperformed lots of chamber music and art songs in the United States and China, including Robert Schumann’s Dichterliebe Op.48, Liederkreis Op.39, and RalphVaughan Williams’s Songs of Travel. Other Lieder repertoire includes Franz Schubert’sSchwanengesang, D.957 and Winterreise, D.911. He was invited to be performinginOpera Festival in the National Center for Performing Arts in Beijing from2012to2015 as a soloist. As a section leader in Youth Chorus of Capital Normal Universityand a choir singer in the Beijing Festival Chorus, he performed lots of choral concertsnationwide. He has worked at the Riverside Church in NYC as a member of theRiverside Choir for 2016-17 season. Mr. Peng holds a Master’s Degree of Music invoice from Manhattan School of Music in 2016 and a Bachelor’s Degree of Arts invoice performance from Capital Normal University in Beijing, China in 2014. Currently, he is pursuing his Doctor Degree of Musical Arts in voice performance at the University of North Texas.
